Welcome to online English B1.1.

As you are aware, this semester teaching and learning will be done remotely due to Covid-19. As a result, both Moodle and Microsoft Teams platforms will be used in the teaching and learning process. By now everyone should have received a welcome message from Microsoft Teams platforms with a short task to be completed.
As this is an English class, most of the teaching and learning will be done in English. This approach will guarantee maximum development of the four skills; reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Online semester approach
  1. We will cover 6 units durring this semester - i.e a new unit will be covered every 2 weeks and will commence every other Wednesday.

  2. Unit assignments will be given on moodle at the beginning of each unit; i.e on the Wednesday of every 2 weeks.

  3. Deadline for unit assignments will be the last class of every unit. i.e. the Friday before the start of each new unit teaching and learning.

  4. Grades and feedback will be posted in the platforms, for all unit activities, at the beginning of each new unit.

  5. Please note that although no grades will be given for activities done on the platforms, as final grades are only dependent on final exams, graded activities will be used to track students progress and as a means of providing feedback. These grades will also be kept and used for extenuating circumstances. Graded activities include End of Unit Test and 2 Partials Progress Evaluations. WHICH WILL ALL BE DONE ON MOODLE.
